Dreading the calls for contractors’ quotes? We hook you up with the most experienced licensed local trade contractors who are more than happy to work directly with you to get your project completed by your deadline at a cost that is right for you.

Why this way instead of using major pool company?

With most major pool companies, you will see a lot of paperwork being done but not much actual action taking place in your backyard. For as many examples as you need simply Google, “Complaints + the name of any major pool company”. The thing that makes the Bluepools process unique is the complete control that you, the client, have over your project. You are entirely in charge of the contractors! But don’t let this intimidate you! The most important technical aspects involved in the coordination of trade contractors is pool and spa location and elevation. But don’t worry - this is all set out on the Bluepools drawings. All existing features of your backyard are already taken into account.

Who makes sure the pool is set out properly?

The pool excavator has the most important role in this and since you’ll have those most experienced contractors available you can feel comfortable and know that you’re in good hands. The excavator will do the initial setting out and then excavated the pool to line and level. All of the excavators we will recommend have worked on thousands of pools and have years of experience. If there is ever a mistake with the excavation and the pool is over dug this can cost thousands to repair with shotcrete. It is the excavator’s responsibility to ensure this doesn’t happen and he will make sure that your pool is accurate to the inch! The final work of the excavator is to set up the forms that the shotcrete will be shot into. Accurately placed forms make sure the outside face of the pool is in the correct location and elevation when the pool is shot and the 6” wide pool shell is formed. All plumbing, rebar, and electrical placement by their respective contractors are positioned based on the placement of the forms. See why the experience of the excavator is essential to your project?  What’s the best part? At this point we will examine the pool for you to make sure everything is up to par.

How am I able to save so much more than my neighbors?

How much you save depends entirely on your individual choices. It may be 50%, 40%, or maybe less but you will be saving a great amount based solely on the fact that you won’t be paying for the overheads that major pool companies carry. You won’t be paying for employees’ salaries and their commissions, managers’ salaries and their bonuses, or the company’s administration and office costs.

One of the most amazing things we can offer you is…

In-floor cleaning at a fraction of the cost from pool companies! You may ask yourself, “what’s the big deal with an in-floor cleaning system?” Over 75% of the pools we design include in-floor cleaning systems! A traditional pool has water circulated through several inlet jets in the sides of the pool and then through drains in the pool floor and through the skimmers that remove leaves and debris from the pool surface. A pool with an in-floor cleaning system, on the other hand, has pop-up nozzles on the pool floor that use high pressure bursts of water to push dirt from all around the inside of the pool to a designated drain. The trash is then simply emptied out of a basket periodically. The nozzles also allow chemicals to be introduced at the bottom of the pool which makes for much better circulation and less chemical loss at the surface of the pool. For this reason, in-floor cleaning systems can be a major help for keeping algae away. No-one wants Loch Ness monster living in a swamp in their backyard! Circulation at lower levels in the pool also helps avoid heat loss at the surface of the pool. An Arizona State University study even found that in-floor cleaning systems can saver pool owners up to 30% on chemical usage and 40% on heating expenses. This also helps you save on power consumption. We can also include in-floor cleaning nozzles in spas, fountains, wet-decks, seats, and steps. The Bluepools in-floor cleaning system is engineered using state-of-the-art C.A.D. technology ad can be installed in any pool and spa deign. We’ve got you covered!

Will the in-floor system affect the appearance of my pool?

Not at all! The pop-up nozzles are available in 5 colors and are virtually unseen when not in use. You are free to swim while they’re functioning since there are no hoses moving parts to get in your way. In-floor cleaning systems are not just an added extra. Yes, you can own a pool without one but, really, an in-floor cleaning system will greatly improve your overall pool-owner’s experience. At Bluepools we see it as a piece of equipment as important to a pool as the water pump. You pool with be safer, with cleaner water, and cheaper to run. Most important to note is that an in-floor cleaning system is not easily in a previously constructed pool and will be much costlier to install if you change your mind later. The pool floor must be removed and a new plumbing system fitted. Think of all the swimming time lost! So, at Bluepools we keep the price of the in-floor cleaning system as low as possible because we know that they will make our clients’ lives that much easier!
